بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ﴿١﴾

Did We not open your breast for you(1)

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ﴿٢﴾

and relieve you of your burden(2)

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ﴿٣﴾

which [almost] broke your back?(3)

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ﴿٤﴾

Did We not exalt your name?(4)

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا﴿٥﴾

Indeed ease accompanies hardship.(5)

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا﴿٦﴾

Indeed ease accompanies hardship.(6)

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ﴿٧﴾

So when you are done, appoint,(7)

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب﴿٨﴾

and supplicate your Lord.(8)
